Why Wagegap

The tools that exist were built by tech, for tech.

Levels.fyi, Glassdoor and Payscale weren't designed for hourly workers, shift differentials, or the realities of bedside nursing. We are.

One rule
The wall between money and the verdict never comes down.

Employers cannot buy the Fair-Pay badge, raise their percentile, hide unflattering data, or pay to be ranked higher. The benchmark is the benchmark. We are accountable to workers because workers are the only audience whose trust we cannot afford to lose.

For employers

Earn the Fair-Pay badge. Don't buy it.

Pay above the verified market rate for the specialty and metro, and the badge is yours — visible to every nurse on the platform. Stop, and it's gone.

  • Automatic verification against the live worker-reported benchmark.
  • Featured listings to the most engaged nursing audience anywhere.
  • Recruiter access — direct outreach to high-intent, role-matched candidates.
  • Compliance-ready reporting as pay-transparency laws expand.

Common questions

Straight answers.

Is my wage information private?

Always. Submissions are anonymized before they enter the benchmark. We never display individual wages — only aggregated percentiles. Your employer cannot see what you submitted.

How do you know wages are real?

We seed from public and FOIA-able payroll data, then verify worker submissions using paystub uploads, email-domain matching, and statistical outlier detection. Junk gets filtered out.

Why "give to get"?

Because pay data only stays current if real workers keep contributing. One submission unlocks full access; the benchmark gets sharper for every nurse who comes after you.

Can my employer pay you to change my read?

No. Employers can earn certification by paying fairly, and pay for recruiting access — but they have zero ability to move the benchmark, suppress data, or alter percentiles. That wall is the product.

Stop guessing what you're worth.
